Counselling Approach
Wayne works from a client-centred, trauma-informed approach. He provides a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
His aim is to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, strengthening coping strategies, improving communication skills, and enhancing overall wellbeing. Wayne sees counselling as a collaborative process, focusing on identifying personal goals and exploring meaningful pathways forward.
Wayne adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and Practice and is committed to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
Fees/Appointments
- *Fees are $125 per session (sessions run 50 minutes in duration). $110 per session for concession card holders.
- Appointments are Thursday to Saturday with flexibility around times.
- Payment is required in full at the end of each session via EFTPOS or direct bank transfer.
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation. The full fee is payable after this time.
- Appointments are in person or telehealth is available through Microsoft Teams.
- A referral from your doctor is not required to attend counselling, simply contact me directly to schedule an appointment.
- There is no Medicare rebate available. Fees are based on the average ‘out of pocket’ expense if you have a ‘Mental Health Care Plan’ through your GP and can claim a rebate from a health professional through Medicare.
